For a truly wonderful small town (pop. 25,000) bead shop please visit Carla. You're a friend the second you walk in the door . She works very hard to make sure she keeps an amazing selection of beads, hand forged silver & brass, and beading supplies in her store. With a project work room that will supply the tools, it's a wonderful place to escape for a few hours to create. Hastings, NE is lucky to have such a place.

Carla IS Beads and Botanicals. She has created a community of beaders -- in the shop and on-line thru her blog. I've only physically been there once - but feel like I'm part of the community. Carla forges awesome copper, brass, and silver pieces herself. She offers many classes and projects each month. She is very encourageing and inspiring.
