The finest bead society Star OnStar OnStar OnStar OnStar On - 09/11/2008 18:37:41

I was fortunate enough to go to the Main Line Bead Society's very first meeting two and a half years ago. I was blown away. I instantly had a community of kindred spirits willing to share what they knew. Every interest has been covered and it just keeps getting better all the time. I would encourage anyone in the area to make the effort to come to a meeting. You really will not regret it. www.mainlinebeadsociety.org
Wonderful Group of People Star OnStar OnStar OnStar OnStar On - 07/27/2008 21:18:11

The Main Line Bead Society had me come into one of their meetings to talk about my porcelain pendants, and I was received with great enthusiam. The members had lots of great questions and were very responsive. Their beading community is so strong, that even a couple of years later I have members that remain in contact and bring finished pieces to show me at bead shows. This society is a GREAT beading family!!!

Thanks for making me feel like such a part of it!

This group has everything. From belly dancers making their beaded costumes to how to store your beads. Some meetings are bead classes others are talks by publishers, bead weavers, silver smiths, pattern designers, lampworkers and so much more. And everyone will help you with any project. Contests and show and tell are going on all the time.
